Electric field instrument (EFI) faceplate (FP) plasma density at 16 Hz
Description
The EFIx_LP_FP Product contains extended Swarm Electrical Field Instrument (EFI) plasma data derived from the faceplate (FP) current at 16 Hz.
They include:
- estimates of the ionospheric electron density from the faceplate current at 16 Hz resolution;
- the actual 16 Hz faceplate current measurements;
- geodetic coordinates of the satellite positions interpolated to the times of the current measurements.
